May 2024 Oporto and Duoro wine tour

Wine tour of Porto and The Duoro – May 2024

Spring wine adventure in Porto and the Duoro

Monday 6th  to Friday 10th May 2024

For our early spring tour to Porto and the Duoro, we are making our base the historic city of Porto.

It is a glorious riverside city with plenty of interesting things to see and do.  The city itself is home to many wonderful Port Houses and we will get the chance to visit some of these as well venturing down the river into the Duoro Valley itself.

May is a good time to visit Porto which has a moderate climate with temperatures usually between 16˚ and 20˚ - perfect for tastings and exploring vineyards.

Our eight visits will be focused on high-quality producers across the region.

The tour will start and finish at Porto Airport.  The start time will be designed to connect with the arrival of British Airways and Easyjet flights from Gatwick.  The finish time will be designed to connect with the departure of British Airways and TAP flights to Gatwick. Other flight options could be available.
